This bitch has been blessed with being able to travel the world! Here’s a peek into my top three travel experiences (so far!).
When you're done, you can also check out Cam's top travel experiences here.
Drinking Beer at Oktoberfest - I attended Oktoberfest in 2018 and it was an absolute blast. Not only is Germany a beautiful country to visit, but the festival really shows you what German culture is all about. I got to dress up in the cutest dirndl dress and drink all the beer. What’s really cool about Oktoberfest is that there are several different tents that you can go in and each one is sponsored by a different brewery and they each have their own unique attributes. Some of the tents are for the younger crowd who want to get rowdy, and some are for the people who just want to sit and enjoy a nice beer. There is also a full-blown fair outside with carnival rides and amazing food. I can’t wait to go back one day!
Night out in Barcelona - Story time! Before we went to Barcelona, our coworker connected us with a friend he made the last time he was in Barcelona who knew all the coolest bars, clubs, and restaurants in Barcelona. Naturally, we met up with him our first night there and it was quite the night to remember. We are used to the bars closing at 2am in the US but for whatever reason they go ALL NIGHT in Spain - I'm talking 7AM... We spent the night dancing, making new friends, and having a drink or two, or three... If you need the hookup in Barcelona, let us know.
Sahara Desert Tour - By far the most adventurous thing I have ever done in my life. We spent 10 hours in a van driving in to the middle of Morocco, and then got on camels and rode into the middle of the Sahara Desert and spent the night in shacks! The night we spent in the desert, the local nomad Berber people sang to us, made us food, and even taught us a few words from their language. There were bugs absolutely everywhere, but you could not beat that view of the beautiful night sky - the stars were SO bright. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
