Getting ready for a weekend trip to Barcelona, Spain? Well we got your back! There's a lot to do in this beautiful city with tons of history, but if you've got limited time, here's what we did when we only had 48 hours to spare.
Order tapas & sangria - an absolute MUST! Be sure to look up reviews before you go to a restaurant so you're not disappointed
Visit La Sagrada Familia - we didn't go inside, but you can if you have the time. We actually ate lunch out in front of the church so we had it as a nice view from our table.
Make friends with the locals - we met a lot of great people while we were here and they took us out for a night on the town and it will be something we will never forget (or something we'll never remember...?)
Go on top of the roof of La Pedrera Casa Mila
Walk around the Gothic Quarter
Visit Park Güell - it's a bit out of the city, but it's work it for the beautiful view of the city
Get a glimpse of Barcelona Cathedral
Take a stroll through the colorful La Boqueria Mercat
Go bar hopping - we had the most fun going around the city, a lot of great wine bars and grungy clubs. Don't be afraid to take a siesta before you do as these people stay out ALL night long!
Grab a bite to eat and shop on Las Ramblas
