PARIS, FRANCE: VISITING THE CATACOMBS

First things first – do you see that creepy figure behind me in the photo here? My dad pointed it out to me recently and it really creeped everyone out. I’m hoping that’s just some random person on a Catacombs tour in front of me or something.

Anywho, going to the Catacombs was one of the main things I wanted to do when visiting Paris. I’m really interested in history and I had seen movies about them before (check out As Above, So Below, it’s super creepy).

Walking through the tunnels where over six million people’s remains are was truly an experience and a crazy sight to see. Not going to lie, it was a bit eerie, but something I’m definitely glad I did, and would recommend everyone do as well! It was a truly unique experience and like something I had never seen before.

TIP: Make sure that you get in line early though! I would suggest getting there an hour before it opens.
