When we travel, we can get a little bitchy. Don’t even try to talk to me if I don’t have my neck pillow. Everyone is like that right? That’s why we scoured the bottomless pit that is Amazon to find you the top four travel essentials that are affordable AND will help your international (or domestic!) flight to be a little more enjoyable.

  1. Inflatable Neck Pillow - A neck pillow is an absolute essential no matter how long the flight but what is more annoying than lugging that thing around? Should I loop it around my carry-on bag? Wear it as a neck accessory as I walk through the terminal? Nah, don’t hesitate, deflate! Grab this neck pillow off amazon for a quick $18 and deflate and store it away when you’re done with it.

  2. Sleep Master Sleep Mask - I absolutely can not sleep on a plane without a sleep mask and this thing is like the Rolls Royce of sleep masks. In order to be efficient, a sleep mask has to do one thing: block out light and oh baby, this one does it. It’s $25 on amazon, and an absolute necessity when you are sitting next to one of those people on a red eye who are doing a crossword puzzle with the overhead light on at 2am... like really person?

  3. Travel Sized Moisturizer - We all know we are supposed to moisturize, but even more so on a long flight! Why? Planes are about 10% humidity. Your living room should be around 40%-50% humidity so a plane is DRY and you can imagine the effect that is having on your skin. Make sure to get a good travel sized moisturizer like this one to help rehydrate your skin. No one wants to get off the plane in Bali looking dry and crusty! Bonus points if you remember to bring makeup remover wipes for those long overnight flights - you don't want to ruin your skincare routine just because you're on a plane!

  4. Portable Charger - I don’t know about you, but we have been on some seriously cheap flights. Anyone remember WOW Airlines? I think I flew to Germany for like 20 bucks and unsurprisingly there wasn’t an outlet in sight. Thankfully, I had this portable charger on me to help keep my battery powered. An absolute necessity when traveling, you don’t want your phone to be dead on arrival.

Special shoutout to Jeff Bezos for making obtaining all these travel essentials so easy on Amazon. If you have any travel related questions, send us a message and make sure to follow us on Instagram at @bitcheswithsuitcases!
