Take in the beautiful skyline
Walk around White Rock Lake
Shop at the Galleria and NorthPark Center
Enjoy live music in Deep Ellum - and keep an eye out for the Traveling Man!
Go to a sports game - DFW is home to the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars
Walk (or run) along the Katy Trail
Check out the Giant Eyeball downtown
Check out the Perot Museum
Play sand volleyball at Sandbar Cantina - grab food & drinks here, too! If you want to play, be sure to get there early and bring a ball
Spend the afternoon at Klyde Warren Park
Spend the day at the Arboretum
Go shopping through the Bishop Arts District
Where to Eat:
Pecan Lodge - stop by this place while you're exploring Deep Ellum if you're in the mood for some good Texas barbecue
Town Hearth - it's a little pricey, but it's so worth it. The inside is lined with chandeliers and has a giant fish tank. Please get the Bering Sea King Crab Tot Oscar (tater tots topped with a yummy sauce and crab) as an appetizer
The Woolworth - this spot is downtown right next to the Giant Eyeball. Try the Lobster Grilled Cheese - it's to die for
HG Supply Co. - fun rooftop patio par on Greenville Ave. with a great view of the skyline
Bubba's - some of the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and rolls you'll EVER have
Henry's Majestic - one of our favorite brunch spots with an amazing mimosa bar
El Fenix - check out the original one near downtown and eat some of the best chips & salsa we've ever had

Katy Trail Icehouse - fun patio bar for you to hit up day or night right along the Katy Trail famous for their Summer Beer
Deep Ellum Brewing Company - fun brewery in the heart of Deep Ellum
Statler - come here day or night to enjoy the rooftop with a pool and a beautiful view of the city
Truth & Alibi - Speakeasy behind a candy store in Deep Ellum
Truckyard - unique outdoor patio bar with live music
Playground - come here for an alcoholic version of your favorite childhood drinks like Capri Sun, YooHoo, Kool-Aid, and more!
Chelsea Corner - great spot for Friday or Saturday night if you're looking to dance. the perfect place to end your night!
Happiest Hour - PLEASE get their loaded cheese fries
Whippersnapper - this bar is always themed something fun on the inside and out! The most recent time we went it was themed for The Office
