Oui-oui, bitch! Check out our travel guide and price breakdown below for things we would encourage all first-timers to include as part of their Paris, France trip - 3 days spending less than $400.
Disclaimer: the pricing does not include flights to/from your home city, food, or taxi/Ubers and prices for specific joint costs (like hotels) were split between 2 people.
WHERE WE STAYED:
Hotel Résidence des Arts, which was $202/night for 3 nights split between 2 people = $303 each.
Cute hotel that was just across the river from Notre Dame and was right on the Hop On – Hop Off bus tour route.
DAY 1:
Get your Hop On, Hop Off bus tickets (48 hours) - it actually includes a tour on the Seine River = $48/ticket
Drive down the Champs-Élysées – great shopping spot = free!
Visit the Eiffel Tower & get a pic - you can also climb to the top and can even have dinner, which we didn't do but feel free for an extra price= free!
DAY 2:
Grab some delicious macaroons at Laduree - you can also grab an absolutely delicious brunch here as well

Put a padlock on the Ponts des Arts & throw your key into the Seine – bring one with you so you don’t have to purchase one there = free!

Tour the Musée du Louvre – make sure not to miss the iconic Mona Lisa, it's a LOT smaller than you would think = $18/ticket

Climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe - you can but your ticket once you get there = $14/ticket

DAY 3:
Take a creepy tour of the Catacombs of Paris – don’t skip out on this, was my favorite part of Paris. The Catacombs are closed on Mondays and you can get tickets on site = $10/ticket
Walk through the Latin Quarter - this is in the 5th arrondissement and is famous for it's bookshops, including Shakespeare & Company = free!
Visit the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral - you can go inside, but please be respectful of people that are actually attending a service = free!
